According to Ishamael we must completely reform the way we think in order to save the world. "Then here is a program: the story of Genesis must be reversed. First, Cain must stop murdering Abel. The Leavers are the endangered species most critical to the world-not because they're humans but because they alone can show the destroyers of the world that there is no one right way to live. And then, of course, you must spit out the fruit of the forbidden tree. You must absolutely and forever relinquish the idea that you know who should live and who should die on this planet." I actually, completely agree with this statement from Ishmael. Humanity does not need to be the top species. We are a type of animal and all animals have the same ranking in society. If we are trying to better ourselves and in turn are destroying other species then the ecological system will be permenantly ruined. This will result in the destruction of the Earth. If the Takers follow the ways of Leaver society there will be a much greater chance of survival. If we stop killing and destroying, all species will continue to evolve as it was meant to be.
